The first 2009 meeting of the Central Chapter of the New Mexico Network for Women in Science and Engineering will be a very special event! We will present the IMPACT! Award to our own Betsy Frederick for her life-long contributions to education. The NM Commission on the Status of Women will be there to help us celebrate Betsy's accomplishments. We will begin the evening with a social hour. Dinner will be served at 7:00pm.
Please join me at the new Hilton Garden Inn Uptown, just west of the Marriott near Louisiana and I-40. The cost for dinner will be $25.00. If you have any special dietary needs, or would prefer a vegetarian meal--please indicate that in your response. Or you may call me at the number listed below. All reservations must be in no later than noon on January 12, 2009.
This will also be a a great chance for you to catch up on the status and happenings of the Expanding Your Horizons Conference in March.
