The Integrated Knowledge Engine for Threat Monitoring
Dr. Deborah Leishman, D-6, LANL

This talk will describe the Integrated Knowledge Engine (IKE) and its use for several different problem domains. IKE utilizes Bayesian Mathematics to analyze potential threats given an underlying Bayesian model of a problem space and is also used for optimized tasking. Finally, I will discuss how IKE can be used to integrate outputs from several sensors such as RF, analyzed video and other heterogeneous sources. (LAUR-07-2148)

Biography -- Dr. Leishman works in the in the Risk Analysis and Decision Support Systems Group (D-6) of the System Decision Applications Division at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). She leads a team developing methods and software tools for integration of heterogeneous information sources to quantify potential threats at LANL.

KRSN Interview: broadcast live Monday, 9 April 2007, at about 8:40 am, after the sports on KRSN's live morning show. See http://www.krsnam1490.com/ for KRSN live stream.
