NMNWSE honors the outstanding successes of Carol Linder, Ph.D.; the New Mexico Highlands University Interim Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Professor of Cell Biology. Carol received the 2016 IMPACT! Award at the NMNWSE annual symposium in October in Albuquerque, NM.

The NMNWSE IMPACT! Award recognizes NM women for their extraordinary efforts in furthering the goals of the Network: "encouraging women to enter into and development their careers in science, engineering, and allied professions."
