Our Annual Meeting and Technical Symposium, held each fall, provides an opportunity to present technical papers in a supportive environment. It also provides professional development and networking opportunities.

The 2013 NMNWSE Technical Symposium and Annual Meeting (AM 2013)
was held 25-27 October 2013
at the Shaffer Hotel in Mountainair, New Mexico.
See below for meeting details.

The FY 2013-14 NMNWSE Board, serving Oct 2013-Oct 2014, was elected at the Meeting.
Please contact the NMNWSE Board if you would be interested in helping with Board activities.

Meeting Details:
The 2013 meeting was held at the Shaffer Hotel, a registered National Historical site and one of the few Pueblo-Deco buildings still in existence. Mountainair, a gem of the Old West, is nestled among charming Spanish towns along the picturesque Manzano Mountains. Lunch features a talk on the nearby Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument, followed by a tour in the early afternoon. The Technical sessions in the late afternoon are an excellent opportunity for NMNWSE members to Network and present their work in a supportive atmosphere.

NOTES:
If you are considering attending but are not ready to register, please complete the  online Interest Survey. It does not register you or obligate you to attend - it is simply to help us with advance planning to insure a good conference for all. We encourage you to make your hotel reservations early.
Students, and members with exceptional circumstances, can apply for a meeting scholarship to cover costs - to apply just check the appropriate box on the registration form and provide a brief justification (eg, 'student presenting paper'). The scholarship covers the conference registration, receptions, and conference dinner. In exceptional circumstances we may be able to provide full scholarships to cover lodging, all meals, and some transportation - please indicate in the justification if you feel your circumstances justify a full scholarship.
Further meeting details will be posted as available.
Please contact the NMNWSE Board if you have any questions.
