Fall 2020 Santa Fe STEM Pathways for Girls conference

STEM education is hit the hardest with distance learning and the pandemic is already showing signs that it is deepening the gender differences in STEM career aspirations. Every fall STEM Santa Fe offers its annual STEM Pathways for Girls conference. This conference is focused on sparking and boosting 5th-8th grade girls’ interest in STEM education, with hands-on workshops led by women in STEM, with the goal of keeping girls engaged in STEM education while providing a local support system of like-minded friends and STEM women role models.

During this time of the pandemic, STEM Santa Fe has pivoted and expanded programming virtually. We have scheduled our STEM Pathways for Girls conference for November 13-15. It will span over 3 days and will include a keynote speaker and hands-on workshops. So many preparation are underway as we speak. Stay tuned.

If you would like to be involved, or would like more information, please contact the STEM Santa Fe team at info@stemsantafe.org

Please contact the conference chairs listed at https://archive.nmnwse.org/eyh if you would be interested in helping or would like more information.

Note the Expanding Your Horizons (EYH) program is now part of TechBridge Girls, and the various conferences are navigating their ways through that transition in different ways. Our website has not yet been fully updated to reflect that.
