Meeting Details:

 AM 2015 Second Circular (trifold)
 AM 2015 Draft Schedule

The 2015 meeting will be held at the Sierra Grande Lodge and Spa in Truth or Consequences, NM. This region of New Mexico, with its unique and restorative hot springs, has long been considered a sacred place of healing. Sierra Grande offers a sanctuary for rejuvenation, fine southwestern accommodations, a wide array of massage and spa treatments, and soothing mineral baths. The nearby Spaceport USA adds a futuristic twist to this historic town.

The meeting begins with a Friday evening reception. On Saturday morning, the annual business meeting of the Network, including election of the 2015-16 Board, takes place. The Technical Sessions Saturday afternoon are an excellent opportunity for NMNWSE members to network and present their work in a supportive atmosphere (scholarships may be available to presenters - see below), with refreshments served during the poster session to further encourage networking. Saturday ends with a group dinner featuring presentation of the IMPACT! Award and a keynote speaker (TBA). Further details are anticipated mid-summer, 2015.

If you would like to suggest a keynote speaker or provide other input for meeting planning, please use the interest survey, or contact the NMNWSE Board, or any Board member.

Reservations should be made on your own. Rooms are at the regular rate - all rooms are being held for meeting attendees through Sep. 1, 2015, so mention NMNWSE AM 2015 when making your reservation. All rooms include hot breakfast in the restaurant (for two people) and 30 minutes of private soaking per day. We recommend you make your reservations early as there is limited space.
Note you must call the Sierra Grande Lodge and Spa to make your reservations, as their online system will show all rooms booked due to our block hold on all rooms (until Sep 1).
Note the Lodge changed booking systems in mid-July, so if you made reservations prior to 1 Aug, we urge you to call and confirm your reservation as at least one reservation was not correctly transferred from the old system to the new one.
If the Sierra Grande Lodge and Spa is full, or you want more economical choices, we suggest trying the nearby Pelican Spa, (575) 894-0055, which also welcomes pets - see their website for more information. There are many other hotels in varying prices ranges in the T or C area, too numerous to list.

NOTES:
If you are considering attending, please complete the  online Interest Survey. It does not obligate you to attend - it is simply to help us with advance planning to insure a good conference for all. The  survey also includes a checkbox to indicate if you are interested in serving on the 2015-16 NMNWSE board, which will be elected at the Annual Meeting.
Hotel reservations are on your own, and rooms are being held through Sep 1. We encourage you to make your hotel reservations soon, as space at the conference hotel is limited.
Students, teachers, and non-employed members presenting posters can apply for a meeting scholarship to cover meeting registration fees - to apply just check the appropriate box on the registration form and provide a brief justification (eg, 'student presenting paper'). The scholarship covers the conference registration, receptions, and conference dinner. In exceptional circumstances, we may be able to provide full scholarships to cover lodging, all meals, and some transportation - please indicate in the justification if you feel your circumstances justify a full scholarship or other special consideration.
Further meeting details will be posted as available. Please contact the NMNWSE Board if you have any questions about the meeting, or the NMNWSE webmaster if you notice any problems with this page or the registration form.
